Q: |
Why do you restore the 1977 Firebird bodies instead of using new ones? |
A: |
At the present time there is no one making brand new bodies for the second generation F-bodies as they do for the first generation F-bodies. But new not concern yourself with the quality. We only choose the finest original bodies on the market and then ensure that any suspect metal, which is exposed during an acid bath, is replaced with the finest restoration metal on the market. We stake our reputation on our Bandit bodies being better than those that left Pontiac some 30+ years ago. But more than that, we guarantee it with the only bumper-to-bumper warranty in the business. |

Q: |
What do I need know before I decide to order the T-top option? |
A: |
We do not cut out our own T-tops. Thus, if you wish to order a Bandit with the T-top option, the delivery of your vehicle may be delayed as we cannot begin to work on your vehicle until we find an original Firebird so equipped with the T-top option that is within our budget. This could result in no delay if such a vehicle is immediately available, or in a very long delay if no vehicle is presently available and one does not become available for some time. Of course, you are free to order a Bandit with the T-top option and then ask that this option be removed when we tell you the results of our vehicle search. |

Q: |
Can I order my Bandit–Stage II in colors other than what was originally available in 1977? |
A: |
Yes. Because of the extensive modifications that we do that depart from the factory 1977 Pontiac Trans Am, you are free to order the vehicle in whatever color you wish. |

Q: |
Can I have you further modify my BKPE Trans Am Bandit? |
A: |
Absolutely. We would love to hear our customers’ ideas as to how we can make their ride even more radical than our own offerings. In fact, we encourage our customers to visit www.BKSUPERSTORE.com and review all of the amazing products we sell to make their Firebird as unique as they are. |

Q: |
Can I get my Trans Am Bandit-Stage II with a 572 CID Chevy Big Block? |
A: |
The LS3 makes more power than the 572, weighs less, is more efficient across the power band and costs less. Given this, we would highly discourage our customers from choosing the 572. However, because we admit there is something very special about opening the hood of a Trans Am and seeing a big block engine, we will be happy to discuss exchanging the LS3 for the 572 with any customer so desiring the big block. |

Q: |
Why is there an up-charge if I wish to change the wheels and tire package of my Trans Am Bandit-Stage II? |
A: |
Additional engineering time is required to ensure that the new wheels and tires will fit the vehicle and perform as well as the standard wheel and tire package. The same is true for a custom graphics package: our design team is required to spend more time designing and implementing the new graphics package. |

Q: |
Instead of a Trans Am, can I get you to build me a 1977 Camaro Z-28 with the same specifications? |
A: |
Yes. While we think the Trans Am is the more iconic and better looking of the two vehicles, we respect that others may disagree with us. Please give us a call to discuss with us your interest in such a vehicle. |
